TERMS OF SERVICE
By commissioning me, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
These terms apply to all commissions, unless stated otherwise in writing.
I reserve the right to refuse or cancel commission for any reason.
1. Commission process
Every commission type I offer has a slightly different process, usually stated in the description. In most cases, I need you to send me a reference picture/pictures of the characters/animals you’d want me to draw.
The commission process may last between 2 days and 2 months depending on the complexity and my workload. I am working a part time job and studying university for my masters degree, so my hours I can use for commissions are quite limited. I will try to stay in contact and give live updates on the commission when I find the time.
2. Payment
I accept USD payments through PayPal, Ko-Fi, and I’m figuring out more options as I go. Those listed are my preffered ones, but I’m happy to explore certain options if you give me suggestions. If not, please let’s use Ko-Fi, Paypal or other option suggested by me.
Payments are sent in full upfront, and I start working on your piece only after the price is paid.
Currency for all my listings is in USD.
Refunds and returns are detailed in the Refund policy (see below)
3. Completion time
Time of completion varies on the complexity and my workload. I usually reserve 2 months to work on your piece to make sure I don’t make empty promises, but the time may vary and the commission may be finished much earlier.
If you need the commission in a certain time span, for additional 20% of the price I can prioritize the work and finish earlier.
4. Revisions
The amount of revisions available during working on the commission varies between the kinds of commissions I’m offering. Usually, I offer at least 1 revision in the sketch phase, and then more depending of the kind and complexity of the commission.
5. Usage rights and credit
The client receives personal use rights only, unless commercial rights are purchased separately.
Commercial use for the commission is NOT allowed without written permission and additional fees.
I retain full copyright to the artwork unless agreed otherwise.
Credit when posting my art on social media is always appreciated, and i’ll be happy to support the post with a like!
Do not remove my watermark or signature unless explicitly agreed upon.
6. What I WON’T draw:
There are many commission options in my portfolios to choose from, and unless stated otherwise, I will not be leaving my comfort zone with commissions. What is being shown is what is being offered.
Additionally, I will not be drawing:
- Hate speech or discriminatory content
- Explicit sexual content
- Explicit sexual content involving minors
- Stolen characters claimed as original
- Anything I’m not comfortable with
- Anything I do not have the proper experience and confidence to draw (which is a list that’s shortening over time, as I’m gaining more experience :D)
7. Cancellation
I reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time. In such cases, the client will be refunded based on how much work has been completed.
This clause is in place mainly for cases and situations where I feel uncomfortable and do not want to work with the client anymore. I do not cancel commissions for random reasons, so if I do, it’s quite serious.
If the client becomes unresponsive (approx. 2 months without reply), the commission will be considered abandoned without refund.
RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
Since my commissions are digital files only, returns are not possible once the artwork is delivered.
Refunds:
Full Refund
if the commission is cancelled before I start working on your piece
Partial Refund
if the commission is cancelled after sketching but before final rendering. The refund will be based on the time already spent on the piece.
No Refund
Once the artwork is finished/delivered.
If the client changes their mind.
If the client is dissatisfied based on personal taste rather than failure to meet the agreed description.
Not satisfied?
If the client is not satisfied after delivery, we can work through one (1) final revision and correction of mistakes/inaccuracies.
Chargebacks
Chargebacks without prior communication are considered a violation of these terms and may result in blacklisting from future commissions.
Agreement
By sending payment, the client confirms they agree to these Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
